Augis 18ct "Plus qu'hier, moins que demain" Medal Pendant
This Augis love medal carries the phrase Plus qu'hier, moins que demain, more than yesterday, less than tomorrow, one of the most recognised declarations in early 20th century French jewellery. A diamond set plus sign and ruby set minus bar form the familiar equation against a sunburst engine turned ground, signed Augis to the lower edge. The reverse carries a period engraving, RC 2.9.69, a personal dedication that adds a layer of history to the piece.
