ANTIQUE SILVER DOUBLE ALBERT CHAIN WITH SLIDEABLE T BAR AND FOB SHIELD
A substantial and beautifully documented antique sterling silver double albert chain, every component hallmarked and traceable. The solid links are stamped with the lion passant throughout and measure 6.65mm, giving the chain real weight and profile at 51.94 grams across 16.75 inches.
Both albert clasps and the slideable t bar are the work of Herbert Bushell and Sons of Birmingham, hallmarked 1925. The fob carries a Chester hallmark of 1904, made by Joseph and Richard Griffin, predating the chain by over two decades and adding a further layer of history to the piece. I can remove the Fob dangle if you prefer to have the chain without it.
