The clasp sits front and centre, a square gold box set with a turquoise cabochon, that particular shade of sky blue that only turquoise achieves. Against gold this intensely yellow the contrast is beautiful, so saturated it reads as 15ct. 

Two strands of belcher, the inner running finer than the outer, a considered detail that makes the whole thing drape perfectly. This is the joy of antique jewellery, finding something different and knowing nobody else will have it.
