The blue zircon is the star — approximately 3 carats, exceptionally well cut, throwing sharp bright flashes of colour the instant it moves. The colour is strong and even throughout. The white gold setting keeps the head cool and clean so the stone shows exactly as it should, with nothing from the metal altering or warming the colour. The top view is all zircon — no excess metal, no wasted space.
The shoulders are where the Art Deco craftsmanship reveals itself. Fine angled panels, hand pierced work, and old cut diamonds set low into the metal, giving that small candlelit glow only older stones carry. The detail is precise without being fussy.
