Eagle claws, a symbol of strength, courage, wisdom, power, and nobility, were a popular motif in Victorian jewellery. This particular piece has been transformed from an antique stick pin. The intricate gold talons encircle a coral ball.
Hallmarks - none visible testing as 9 carat gold.
Measurements - weighs 1.2 grams. The drop including the jump ring is 2 cms with the width being 0.8cms.
Condition- in excellent condition. The coral ball has a small dink but it is at the back hidden by the talons. It has been fitted with a new 9 carat gold jump ring.
